Fundraising: Women's Group and Lavender Ladies

We would like to say a HUGE congratulations and ‘well done’ to our Women’s Group and Lavender Ladies who raised £400 in October by organising and taking part in themed sponsored walks!

The TABLO Social Skills group also added a further £89 pounds to the fundraising totally by staging a Dance-Off!

Bowling 'Fun Day' raises over £500 for Take a Break

Cherise at the bowling fundraising day

This Saturday over £500 was raised at a bowling event at MFA Bowl, Nuneaton.

There was a bowling competition and lots of stalls with fun activities.

Thank you to Cherise Denham and all who were involved at MFA Bowl for making the day such a success. All the proceeds will be used for our adult day services.

Play-Scheme Planners

Play-Scheme Planners for the following groups are now available to download from the children's groups section of the website.

Alcester, Hatters Space, Keresley & Warwick.

The planners give basic information such as dates and times and theme for the days activities.

Boccia Success for Henry

Congratulations to Henry Slaughter who has been selected to represent Britain in the Boccia Team GB talent squad.

Sixteen year old Henry has had a very challenging year. He is a fulltime wheelchair user with Duchene Muscular Dystrophy. Last year he underwent major spinal surgery at Great Ormond Street.

Sporty TABs Tackle Mate/Hate Crime

This Sunday Sporty TABs confronted the issue of Hate/Mate Crime face on.

the group started wit learning about mate crime and how it can happen without anybody knowing what it is. We spoke about who to trust and identified ways of finding out if people are our true friends or if people are just using us for other reasons.
